About Thalia Joyner | FdSc Dip Counsellor

Thalia Joyner

I have had 6 years training within counselling and in this time working as a volunteer counsellor with an addiction agency and a mental health organisation.

I also support a group of over 8,000 members, for 8 years now, for those living with chronic pain and long term ill health conditions. My passion is to support and empower those who live with chronic pain and various conditions that impact ever aspect of their lives, find ways to manage the bad days and live the good days.

I believe we all have difficult times in our lives for a whole host of reasons, when life can feel a struggle and not quite knowing where to go or how to navigate, or just feeling stuck. Through the therapeutic processes we can find your own unique way, strengths and direction, explore anything that is difficult or painful. Recover, Regain Strength and Return to Being You.

Prior to counselling I worked in children’s services for 15 years, in various capacities supporting families and working with other agencies and charities within the community.

I am a member and my work is underpinned by the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP)
